Birgu by Night
& Traditional Dghajsa Boat
As this is a private tour the itinerary below
can be customised to your specifications.
We visit one of the most beautiful night time locations...On arrival
at Birgu you will board a traditional Dghajsa boat (type of gondola)
for a short trip around the harbour.
Here you can admire the magnificent view of
the Grand Harbour and as the sun sets the bastions are illuminated creating a
stunning effect around the harbour.
After the boat trips we continue with our visit to the historical
centre of Birgu.
In 1530 the Knights of St. John first settled in this area. A short walking tour
will take us to the heart of city through narrow streets and quaint alleys which
are lamp lit. We can end our tour at one of the local restaurants located on the
waterfront or at one of the local wine tavernas, alternatively we
can return back to your hotel or residence.
